Landscape
is a peaceful concept for me, thus much of the
line I use is rolling, undulating line, the restful
curve, the mildly exhilarating swoop. I was born and
lived most of my life among the rolling hills of Northern
California. The area's land speaks powerfully to me
and I hope through me. As my paintings are more about
something than they are of it, I feel free to abstract
what I see, to imply motion and to push colors, all
to the end of laying out what I feel about our glorious
landscape.
